The first group standard of melt blown cloth for respirator in China is released, and the products are divided into 6 grades according to the filtration efficiency
On April 23, Jiangsu Textile Industry Association officially issued the group standard polypropylene melt blown nonwovens for masks (T / jsfzxh001-2020), which was officially implemented on April 26. This standard is the first group standard for the meltblown cloth for respirators issued in China. It is mainly applicable to the meltblown cloth for respirators for health protection. It is adopted by the group members in accordance with the agreement and voluntarily adopted by the society.
As the core material of mask production, the current demand is far greater than the supply. In recent years, the relevant enterprises have changed to produce melt blown cloth, but they do not know enough about the raw materials, equipment, production process, etc. the filter efficiency of the melt blown cloth is not high, and the quality cannot meet the needs of mask production.
At present, there are 2 industry standards related to melt blown fabric in China, namely, spunbond / melt blown / spunbond (SMS) nonwovens (FZ/T 64034-2014) and melt blown nonwovens (FZ/T 64078-2019). The former is applicable to SMS products with polypropylene as the main raw material and reinforced by hot-rolled bonding; the latter is applicable to nonwovens produced by melt blown process. The end use is not limited to masks. The standard only requires width and unit area quality, and the standard values of key indexes such as filtration efficiency and air permeability are stipulated in the supply and demand contract. At present, the production of melt blown cloth is mainly based on the enterprise standard, but the relevant index regulations are also uneven.
The group standard of polypropylene melt blown nonwovens for respirators issued this time stipulates the raw material requirements, product classification, basic technical requirements, special technical requirements, inspection and determination methods, and puts forward clear requirements for product identification around polypropylene melt blown nonwovens for respirators. The main technical indicators of the group standard include particle filtration efficiency, bacterial filtration efficiency, breaking strength, mass deviation rate per unit area and appearance quality requirements. The standard specifies the following contents: first, the product is graded according to the filtration efficiency level of the product, which is divided into six grades: kn 30, kn 60, kn 80, kn 90, kn 95 and kn 100. Second, the raw materials used shall be specified in accordance with the requirements of special melt blown plastic polypropylene (PP) (GB / T 30923-2014), which limits the use of toxic and harmful substances. Third, specific requirements are put forward for the particle filtration efficiency and bacterial filtration efficiency corresponding to different filtration efficiency levels, so as to meet the requirements of different types of masks for melt blown cloth.
